Henderson features Trunk or Treat, where participants go and bring their cars to a central location, usually a parking lot. The drivers and their families decorate their cars for Halloween, sometimes creating elaborate scenes out of their trunks. Then kids walk from vehicle to vehicle, collecting candy the way they would during a normal trick-or-treating outing.
Family Game Night is a fun time! The City’s mantra is, “Come one, come all to the family game night”. Play competitive games like Pictionary, Jeopardy and Deal or No Deal against other families! Refreshments will be served. Parent/guardian must attend with children.
To say Henderson is a “family oriented” City would be an understatement. The community boasts a number of parks and recreation centers.
The Battle Born Kids program entertains and enriches youth with a variety of supervised interactive activities when school is not in session.
The community also offers Campfire Kids, Tiny Tot Adventurers, Little Learners Pre-School and a host of other community programs and events.
Henderson is also conveniently located. It is a 10-minute drive from the Strip, a few more minutes to Lake Mead, Boulder City and Hoover Dam.
